WEEK VII: Neighborhood/"Hometown"

February 22, 2024. This week's assignment took me to two different locations. First stop is a local landmark, the Whiteside Theater. First built in 1922 it was the second theater to be built in Corvallis. It has withstood 3 different fires. One in October of 1927 and then again in October of 1928 and again in October of 1936. Remind me not to spend time in the Whiteside in October!

February 24, 2024 at The Indoor Winter Market. Countless vendors and craftsmen come together during the wintertime at the Corvallis Fairgrounds to bring fresh produce from local farms and food from local businesses around the area. The market is open every Saturday from 9am to 1pm from now until April 13, 2024.
