Around Downtown Portland

This week I found myself in the Portland area to celebrate my baby cousins first birthday. While I was there I took the liberty of going to Portland's Winter Ice Rink, located on the west end of the Morrison Bridgehead on the water front in downtown Portland. 

According to Lizzy Acker at The Oregonian,"The rink is a project spearheaded by Prosper Portland, the economic and urban development agency for the city of Portland.
Prosper Portland has been focusing over the last several months on bringing people back downtown with events and what they call 'activations,' attempting to bring people back into spaces in the central city."
